
Michael Lagarrigue

Michael Lagarrigue is an opera tenor, actor, and vocal coach. He has a solid career in opera and the performing arts, bringing to each performance a powerful voice, refined technique, and deep artistic sensitivity. His work combines passion, commitment, and professionalism, both on stage and in vocal training.
His artistic training spans classical singing, musical theatre, and vocal pedagogy, integrating stage experience with a strong teaching practice. He has performed in opera and stage productions at prestigious institutions such as the Teatro Colón and the Teatro Argentino de La Plata, participating in casts for operatic and symphonic-choral repertoire. Notable productions include Puccini’s Tosca, Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana, Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Gluck’s Iphigénie en Tauride, and Joan of Arc at the Stake, among others, as well as various musical theatre productions, concerts, and extensive choral work. Alongside his artistic career, he has maintained an extensive teaching practice since 2012. He offers individual and group singing lessons, both in-person and online, for adults, children, and teenagers. He has worked as a teacher and vocal coach in institutions, private studios, and musical theatre projects, and has also served as a vocal coach for choirs and stage ensembles.
He studied Classical Singing at the National University of the Arts and complemented his training with distinguished teachers in lyrical singing and vocal pedagogy, including Myriam Toker, Alejandra Malvino, Pablo Pollitzer, Patricia González, Amy Burton, and Jeff Mattsey. Between 2021 and 2024, he completed the Comparative Vocal Pedagogy program taught by Myriam Toker, deepening his study of vocal function and its pedagogical application. He continues to expand his artistic and stage training internationally, including participation in opera programs in Italy.
Currently, he develops his professional activity as a tenor and vocal coach in an international context, combining performance, teaching, and vocal guidance with an integral, technical, and voice-respecting approach.
